🗓 DATE: Saturday, 17 May 2025.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.10am.
🚊 MEETING POINT: Tascott station at the entry/exit, Glenrock Parade.
🗺️ Please use Google maps for exact location, not Meetup location!
✅ Board the train from Central on the last carriage (car 8).
🚆 END POINT: Koolewong station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 13km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: mostly MODERATE/slightly HARD on a steady pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, steep climbs, creek crossings (we may have to take our shoes off), rock scramblings, a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections and very steep descent track near the end on the way back to Koolewong station. Tracks expected to be muddy and slippery in parts.

‼️NOTE - this event is not suitable for beginners, non bushwalkers, whingers, those without sense of fun and adventure or those with intense fear of heights. ‼️

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♂️From Tascott station, we’ll begin our exciting adventure on a local roads to the bushtrack into Brisbane Water National Park with steep climb towards our first photo stop at Gosford Glyphs.
🧗🏼‍♀️ After photo session at the hieroglyphs, we’ll continue our adventure with great lookouts along Koolewong Ridge towards Spion Kop for awesome photo session and a lunch break.
🤳 Be ready for a stunning views over Woy Woy Bay. Refer attached photos.
🚶‍♂️After lunch break and selfies, we’ll head back on a steep descent to Koolewong station.
🚱 NO toilets or water refills at both stations. Please come well prepared.

🎒WHAT TO BRING 🎒
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.8L of WATER, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks and packed LUNCH.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent ie: Bushman or Aerogard etc and hand sanitiser.
🧥 A raincoat or poncho just in case of wet weather.
🤩 Sense of fun and adventure.
