🗓 DATE: Sunday, 10 August 2025.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.10am.
🚊 MEETING POINT: (start & finish) Epping station, Cambridge Street entry/exit.
🚗 Commuter parking on Cambridge Street or side streets near the station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 13km return.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/mostly Moderate on a relaxing pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven surfaces, creek crossings, stair climbs, ups and downs hills and rock scramblings at few sections.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♂️This is a beautiful walk in Lane Cove National Park with tree fern gully, small waterfalls and lots of wild flowers and wild birds.
🚶We will start and finish at Epping train station though suburban roads, local parks, bushland, creeks and parts of Great North Walk trails, partly under the shades.
🤳 Plenty of photo stops and selfies.
🥘 We will have byo lunch break at North Epping Bowling Club via Whale Rock.
🥪 Please bring PACKED LUNCH as the cafe only serves drinks and packet chips!
🚶‍♂️After lunch, we will continue our adventure along the creek and suburban roads back towards Epping station.
☕️ Cafes, shops and The Epping Club near the station for a drinks or bite to eat before heading home.

🎒WHAT TO BRING:
👕 Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended due to muddy tracks and creek crossings. We may have to take our shoes off crossing the creek.
💦 At least 1.8L of WATER and Hydralyte,
🥪 Snacks and PACKED LUNCH.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent ie. Bushman or Aerogard.
⛑️ Basic First Aid kit ie. BandAid, bandages, antibacterial wipes, pain reliever and hand sanitiser
🧥 A raincoat just in case of wet weather.
