Lisarow to Gosford via Mt Elliot, St Johns Lookout & Rumbalara Reserve 🌲🌿 🍂

🗓 DATE: Saturday, 30 August 2025.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.25am.
🚊 MEETING POINT: Lisarow station at the entry/exit. Please use Google maps, not Meetup location!
🚆 END POINT: Gosford station.

🥾 DISTANCE: 16km - point to point.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/mostly Moderate on a steady pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, stair climbs, creek crossings, rock scramblings and a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections.
💪🏽 Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶Let’s explore Central Coast on all day adventure. This is an enjoyable walk with mixture of local roads, reserves, fire trails, bush tracks, temperate rainforest and lookouts with abundance wildlife.
🚶‍♂️From Lisarow station, we’ll begin our exciting adventure on a local roads towards our first photo stop and toilet break at Mt Elliott and St Johns Lookouts with a great view of lower Central Coast. Refer attached photos.
🚶‍♂️After photo session, we’ll head towards Katandra Reserve and Rumbalara Reserve forr byo lunch break.
🚶We’ll continue our adventure along the bush tracks and tranquil temperate rainforest to Gosford station for our return journey home.

🎒WHAT TO BRING:
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.8L of WATER, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks.
🥪 Snacks or PACKED LUNCH.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
⛑ Basic First Aid Kit ie. BandAid, bandages, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser.
🧥 Light raincoat just in case of wet weather.
