🗓 DATE: Saturday, 20 September 2025.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.50am.
🚆 MEETING POINT: (start & finish) Mt Victoria station - at the entry/exit.
🌍 Please use Google maps for exact location, not Meetup maps!

🥾 DISTANCE:
🚶‍♂️10 km return - Asgard Swamp Track from the carpark at the trailhead. Refer pic no. 1.
🚶4.5 km return (optional) - Victoria Falls Track.
🥾 GRADE: Moderate/slightly Hard on a steady pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, stair climbs, creek crossings, rock scramblings and a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections. Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.
‼️ NOTE: This walk Is not for whingers, non bushwalkers or those with intense fear of heights❗️

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚗 We will gather at Mt Victoria station to meet up with day trippers and those coming by train to sort out car pooling etc.
🚙 We will drive to Asgard Swamp Track on Victoria Falls Road, about 6 km from/to Mt Victoria station, around 15 minutes drive or 1.5 hours walk each way.
🚶‍♂️Once we finish the walk at Asgard Swamp Track, you’re welcome to do the beautiful Victoria Falls Walk (optional), about 4.5 km return from the carpark & toilet block, at the end of Mt Victoria Falls Road.

🚗 Drivers and passengers - please update on comments section if you can offer or require a carpool (with share petrol) from any stations on the way or from Mt Victoria station.

❎ NO facilities or cafes on the trails, so please come well prepared.
❎ NO smoking of any kind on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
❎ NO pets including service dogs are permitted on my events. You may join pet friendly walking group instead.
✅ Please be mindful and respectful to members and guest/s from diverse background. This is not a dating group.
✅ If something’s come up, please Edit your RSVP to ‘Not Going’ asap at least by 7pm the day before. It’s only take a second!
❎ Late cancellation or No Show would not be tolerated. You will forfeit the opportunity to join my future events!

🎒WHAT TO BRING 🎒
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or good grip walking shoes highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.8L of WATER, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks,
🥪 Snacks and packed LUNCH.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit ie. BandAid, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitiser.
🧢 Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent ie: Bushman or Aerogard etc.
🧥Light raincoat just in case of wet weather.
🔦 Small torch or a headlight for Asgard Swamp Mine walk.

$10 CASH per person for this event to be collected at the start of the walk.
