We live in a turbulent and violent world, and fresh in our minds is the bombing of Iran followed by Iran's retaliatory actions. While Iran isn't our focus in our conversation, it does serve as a springboard to address the larger question: is war ever justifiable? If so, what are the conditions for taking military action against another nation? Or should we embrace pacifism (non-violence) instead?

If war can be just, what are some examples of truly just wars? Must wars be perfectly tidy to be just? What if a well-meaning authority engages in war that brings unintended consequences such as civilian casualties?

In our discussion, we'll look at these kinds of questions. Thanks for joining us!
