This is a great short walk, starting at Crowcombe Park Gate car park, with a gentle decline downhill through the woodlands around Ramscombe, followed by a gentle incline up through Seven Wells wood and up through Dead Womans Ditch. We'll stop after 1 hour or so for an afternoon break and make other stops as needed and should be back to the car park within 2.5 hours. 5/10 difficulty as there is a short but steep section to get back up to the top, which can occasionally be a little tricky under foot.
Bring a drink, late lunch or whatever snacks you need and be prepared for sunshine or rain. The walk will go ahead unless visibility is really poor or there is persistent rain - so please keep an eye out for updates.
This location is not great for public transport so please comment if you'd like to see if anyone can offer you a lift.
