"Five Degrees of Freedom" is a group of multi-talented musicians with rock and jazz training, who are also work mates. The band formed in 2005 to perform at a scientific conference. Since then, it has enthralled audiences at numerous events with their riffs, rhythms and sweet four-part harmonies. Their repertoire includes original compositions, written by Ilya Budovsky, and influenced by Sting, Paul Simon, Yes and other artists.
Emma Driver is a Sydney singer/songwriter who has played solo and in duos, trios and bands for a couple of decades. Her original songs have been called ‘conversational’ and ‘authentic’ by trustworthy people who didn’t owe her any favours, which is nice. There’s bonus harmonica, too. Emma also performs with Walking Deads, Sydney’s Talking Heads tribute act.
