This community jam session (Hosted by Songwriters in Seattle) is for everyone who loves music, rhythm, or just a good time. Whether you’re a musician, a dabbler, or someone who just likes to tap along to the beat, you’re welcome here. Listeners too!

Come connect, play, and make spontaneous music magic in a laid-back, supportive space. It’s not about perfection — it’s about fun, expression, and togetherness.

📝 Bring your:

• 🎸 Acoustic Instrument and Stand (Park setting, no amps)
  🪕🌿Harmonicas, xylophone, melodica, hand percussion are all great adds to acoustic guitars, violins, flutes. (we’ll have a few and percussion to share!)
• 🪑 Folding chair or blanket
• 🧺 Lovely place and time for a picnic dinner if you desire
• 👯 A friend — musical or not
• 🎶 Creative sparks
• 🎨 And your willingness to PLAY and explore

🎼 Bringing a Song to Share?
We love playing original music! If you’d like the group to jam on a song you wrote, please bring at least 5 printed copies of a simple chord chart or lyric sheet with chords clearly marked, so others can follow along and accompany you.

This isn’t a performance — it’s a musical playground for trying ideas, building songs, and making sound together — even if that just means clapping, humming, or shaking a tambourine.
