Come join us for an adventure to the San Francisco Ferry Building via SMART Train and Golden Gate Ferry. The SMART Train is free for seniors and the Golden Gate Ferry is $14 round trip for seniors and they take credit cards. We will be walking around playing tourist, so wear good walking shoes, and afterwards finding a restaurant to eat. We will board the SMART Train at the Rohnert Park station. Since it can be confusing how to find the station parking lot, we will meet in the parking lot of Round Table in Rohnert Park and you can follow April to the Train station. We'll get off the train in Larkspur, get on the shuttle, then board the Golden Gate Ferry headed for the Ferry Building. It's a good idea if everyone knows all the schedules round trip in case we get separated. It's also best if we all have each others phone numbers. The exact times will be posted at a later date.

Come join us for our PICNIC at GALVIN PARK at the BENNETT VALLEY GOLF COURSE in Santa Rosa (SMALL PICNIC SITE). Parking lot entrance is on Yulupa Ave. As soon as you enter the Park/Golf Course it's a short distance and the 3 picnic tables will be on your right. If many members sign up we may have to be at the larger picnic site just to the right. Close to parking. So we don't end up with multiple same dishes and some members have a restricted diet, we ask that members bring their own food and drinks. You can also order take out from Iron & Vine on the golf course, which is good. The Organizer will bring something to share and anyone else is welcome to do so. There is a BBQ grill available. Also, please bring your own eating utensils and your own chair in case seats are all taken. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. There is also a pond in the park, which we can check out. It is scheduled on a week day so the park will be less crowded. Best bathrooms in restaurant. *** For picnics only Members are allowed to bring an adult guest, but the Member is responsible for paying $5 for their guest since they're not a member. You will need to sign them up as a guest at least the day before the picnic. ***
