Painted Hearts Workshop with Artist Tara Dickinson

The world could use some hearts right now, especially with Valentine's Day right around the corner! If you don't know what to get your honey, maybe they will enjoy a piece of art from you...

In this fun & easy workshop, you'll paint layers of color with our intentionally messy hearts emerging through the process.
We'll paint one 11" x 14" canvas and a couple of notecards.

Just bring your willingness to explore, let go, and paint from your heart. Your finished art pieces can be a sweet gift, or simply an original piece of art you've created to brighten your life.

100% beginner friendly. No wrong way to do it

Tara Dickinson has a background in fine arts and years of teaching expressive art labs to kids & grownups. She enjoys sharing tools to help everyone feel comfortable in the creative process while learning new techniques. She moved to Santa Rosa in late 2021 after growing up mostly in FL and is loving the California lifestyle.

The event starts promptly at 6 pm. Please be a little bit early to get settled in with your paper, wine, and supplies

I also encourage attendees to bring snacks, wine or something to drink if they would like (full kitchen on site with wine glasses, small plates, utensils, napkins, hot herbal tea too)..
