Henry Cowell Triple Loop

Please RSVP only if you are committed to attend. Reevaluate your availability a few days before the hike and withdraw at that time if you can no longer commit. This allows others to attend.

I'm looking forward to being surrounded by Henry Cowell's majestic beauty! I've pieced together trails that form three loops.

We'll meet at the Main Entrance Parking Lot at 9am and start hiking at 9:10. If you arrive late feel free to catch up to us.

We'll start out along one side of the Redwood Grove Loop > River Trail > Eagle Creek Trail >Pine Trail > Observation Deck >Pine Trail > Powder Mill Fire Road > Powder Mill Trail > Pipeline Road > past the Overlook Bench > Ridge Fire road > Rincon Fire Road > River Trail and finish up the other side of the Redwood Grove Loop Trail:

Possibly one tame water crossing.

Length: 7.2 miles Elevation gain: 1060 feet
Level of difficulty: moderately challenging (see Calculator photo below)
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours

Bring water (1+ liters), snacks, tick/poison oak protection, hiking boots with good tread, any anticipated first aid needs and your love for adventure!

There is a $10 State Park Entrance Fee if you do not have a State Park Pass.

There are bathrooms available at our parking area.

Dogs are not allowed on the state park trails
