Lower Nisene Meander via Vienna Woods Trail

This will be a lovely muddy stroll through Lower Nisene Marks forest starting at the Vienna Woods Trailhead (see map pin below) and continuing onto Terrace Trail >Buggy Trail/ Aptos Rancho Trail > Terrace Trail Connector >Oak Ridge> Twisted Grove> Old Grove Loop Trail> Oak Ridge> Terrace Trail back to Vienna Woods. There are water crossings so I recommend bringing poles (or a boat LOL).

We'll start our hike promptly at 9 so feel free to catch up to us if you're running late.

I believe dogs are allowed on these trails as long as they're leashed. We love our 4-legged friends but please consider our hiking group when deciding whether to bring your dog along. Many of these trails are narrow and they will be muddy. We've had some problems with unleashed really rambunctious dogs running through the group and knocking hikers off balance.

Mostly tree shade with minimal sun exposure. Hiking shoes or good trail runners are recommended.
