We'll start at 6 pm, but feel free to come when you can. Newcomers are always welcome. Don't be shy if you don't know any games! We're always happy to introduce someone to a new game.

If there is a game you'd like to play, please mention in the comments below, and people can reply if they're interested so we can try to get a group together for you. Be sure to include how many people you're looking to include in your game, and a brief description could be helpful.

You can bring potluck food and beverage, order food to have it delivered, or bring your own snacks.

And bring a donation to help keep the lights on.

All through the year, including off-seasons we meet nearly every week to chat and work and learn together in The SourceForest. The SourceForest is a permaculture project and community garden. Eric Garretson, life long multi-generational farmer, gardener, landscaper and foodscaper shares knowledge and adds direction to our community garden project. Eric ran the Growers Market downtown for several years then moved to work as a landscaper at Ghost Ranch as well as other places and has worked and advised many really cool projects for over 25 years. The SourceForest has been a free community garden project for many years and we welcome donation both in plants and seeds, other organic and mindful growing supplies, labor, tools, straw bales, and money, etc.

Located 1111 Carlisle Blvd SE Albuquerque, NM 87106 past the Michael Thomas coffee shop patio, deeper into the courtyard by the pond.

water bottle, gloves if you can, your favorite tools if you like, sunscreen, curiosity, questions…

Free. Donations are always welcome, $is given to our wise guide Eric Garretson, for his voluntary dedication and offering to this garden. Also seeds, plants, tools, jokes, labor…..

A Hummingbird Residential Wasifa Retreat

​The Ground of our Being and Universal Peace are great mysteries that stretch beyond what our conceptual minds can comprehend. Universal Peace is not just a longing, it is our birthright. The ground of being is where we stand and the very bones and body that supports our standing. There are pathways or portals that enable us to feel, embody, and be guided by the energies of these realities through direct experience. Through the language of Creation within our bodies and around us in nature, our hearts may grasp what the mind cannot.

Is it possible to be rooted in the fertile soil of Universal Peace at the heart of divine mystery? Is it possible to slow down our restless minds, become present and rooted to the ground of being to be inspired by its innate wisdom? Can we experience a Universal Peace dwelling within the cellular realms of our own body-being? We will contemplate these question and more in this retreat.

The Beautiful Names within the Sufi pathway provide an ecology of contemplation and discovery of our human self and divine soul that enables us to cultivate a responsible relationship with Universal Peace and the Ground of Being.

Tara Andrea and Maboud will guide us in this endeavor through the wasifa-inspired body prayers, and embodiment-centered meditations. There will be contemplative time in nature, and sharing our individual journey in a circle of belonging.

Join us for an evening of sacred sound as we come together in a blend of traditional mantra chanting (including Aum Mani Padme Hum) and intuitive vocal expression, allowing spirit to guide our voices in the second half of the circle.

Whether you're new to chanting or have a deep practice, this space welcomes all voices. The first portion will be guided through classic mantras, and then we’ll open into a time of heart-led sound—no words, or lots of words, being in presence, with the vibration, breath, and resonance.
