South Philly Social Meetup

Welcome to the South Philly Social Meetup group!

Our philosophy is simple: we bring together people from the South Philly-ish area for laidback, enjoyable hangouts and events (like happy hours, comedy shows, bowling, brewery crawls, street fests, dinners, park hangs, etc.). Whether you're new to the neighborhood or have been here a while, our goal is to create fun and relaxed gatherings where you can meet new folks and eventually build real friendships that you take outside of the group. We want real people, who know how to have normal/fun conversations, who actually want to get to know each other. This group is purposely kept small, and the # of event attendees are limited so we can interact in an environment that actually allows people to get to know each other. Also, if you aren't a good fit for the group after you attend 1 or more events we will politely eject you (this is to better help the people that are in the group to connect - there are 100s of other groups).

*Due to the overwhelming demand we already have for the group's events, we are trying to limit the group to people between the ages of 28-48, who live south of Market Street and between the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers.
