Let's pop over to Lee on Solent for coffee at Cafe at Zero 5 (Daedelus Airport)

Currently a spitfire is based at Daedelous Airport at Lee on the Solent from Wednesday till Sunday in November 2025. If you fancy a flight and are flush with money, you can book a flight here:-

There is a great little cafe at Daedelous Aiport called Cafe at Zero 5. It has great coffee and snacks on offer plus free car parking - and a great open air viewing area where you can watch any aircraft or helicopters taking off and landing at Daedelous.

All of the flights are weather dependant of course, so we may not see a Spitfire but the coffee and snacks and the location are all very enjoyable. The cafe is just by the control tower.
Please dress warmly and as appropriate for the weather on the day. If the weather is dreadful on the day, we may cancel and move this event to next year instead.
