# 🌄 Dandenong Creek Trail - part 2 - meet at Marie Wallace Bayswater Park - 12km - Grade 2 - Easy / Moderate
I am leading a walk with another Meetup group on Sunday and thought I would post it here to see if anyone is interested in joining us.
DOGS Welcome but... tthis is a walk on a shared path with bikes. OK for calm dogs but might be a bit too hectic for more active/reactive dogs.
# 📍 Meeting Point
Meet at the train in the playground at Marie Wallace Bayswater Park in Bayswater.
Plenty of parking at the park or on King Street.
Good facilities (toilets, barbecues, tables and chairs, etc) and only a few hundred metres from Bayswater train station.
🕙 Start Time:
10am (please arrive a bit earlier so we can start on time)
# 🥾 About This Walk
The plan is to walk the Dandenong Creek Trail in 8 stages of around 10-15km’s (5 to 7.5 km's out and then back to the start).
This will be a relaxed, social walk beside the creek, with time to enjoy nature and connect with others. Everyone is welcome — whether you’re building fitness, seeking community, or simply wanting a peaceful moment outdoors.

Duration: 2 to 3 hours
# 🎒 What to Bring
Water, snacks, weather‑appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, a Dad joke, sunscreen/hat, and any personal items you need.

We hike in all conditions unless they become unsafe. If strong winds, storms, extreme heat, or track closures arise, we may adjust or postpone the walk.

The route may include uneven ground, water crossings, and natural hazards. Please consider your fitness and bring suitable gear.
