# ❄️ Talking Circle: Seeds of Wisdom

### Legacy & Preparing the Next Generation

(North — winter, elderhood, reflection, life–death–rebirth)

The North is the season of winter—when the land grows quiet and life turns inward in reverence to the Medicine Wheel. It is a time of reflection, distillation, and preparation. In many Indigenous teachings, elderhood is not defined by age, but by perspective. It is the stage where experience has been lived, harvested, and refined into wisdom that can be carried forward.

Winter reminds us that every cycle completes itself in order to begin again. What has grown must rest. What has been learned must be distilled. What has ended nourishes what will come next.
In this final gathering of our Medicine Wheel series, we reflect on the seeds of wisdom we are carrying. What have we learned? What do we release? What do we plant for the next generation—through our presence, our relationships, and our actions?

We will also honor the quieter forms of non-ordinary awareness—stillness, deep listening, spacious perception—where insight arises not through intensity, but through contemplation.

In this circle, we’ll explore:

  • Life, death, and rebirth as natural and necessary cycles
  • Legacy as what we cultivate for future generations
  • Storytelling as a way of preserving and transmitting wisdom
  • Distilling experience into seeds of guidance

As we close this cycle of the Medicine Wheel, we do so with gratitude and humility. The work does not end—it turns. What has been gathered now rests in the soil, preparing for the next season of growth.

Donation-based. All are welcome.

Come sit with us in the stillness of the North—where wisdom is gathered, seeds are tended, and the future is quietly prepared.
