Winter Solstice Meet and Greet / White Elephant Gift Exchange at the Blue Moon.

Please join me at the Blue Moon (5115 Butler Street, Pittsburgh PA, 15201) to celebrate the forthcoming winter solstice and to exchange white elephant gifts.

The white elephant gifts should not cost more then $20 and be as fun, serious, or practical as the gift giver likes. Also, bringing a gift is not required, so feel free to come with or without a gift.

For those participating in the gift exchange:

• We will draw numbers from 1 - n to determine the order that unopened gifts are opened, or opened gifts are stolen from each other.
• If a person has their gift stolen from them, excluding the final stolen gift by the person that draws 1, they can either steal a gift from another person excluding the person that just stole from them, or open an unopened gift.
• At the end of the gift exchange the person that drew 1 will have the option to steal a gift from any other person without any retaliation, leaving the person that was stolen from with whatever gift the thief had, so don't get too attached to your gift.

Feel free to bring, chips, candy, cookies, cupcakes, etc. to share with everyone, and add a comment to the event letting everyone know what you are bringing to prevent duplicates.

I will be dressing fancy in a festive dress, but dressing up is not required, so please feel free to come however you like.

As always, we will be sitting in the back of the Blue Moon to the right of the pool table.

For those, first-timers, the Blue Moon serves both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, and pizza and hotdogs (I believe), and the best place to park near the Blue Moon is in the large free parking lot, which is on the same block / side of the street as the Blue Moon, between Pizza Lupo and Dollar Bank.
