What we’re about
This group is designed to help make paddling a more frequent, accessible and social activity. We want to be on the water and want you to be with us exploring the beautiful waterways in Brevard County and beyond! We are not a tour-guide group, just a bunch of kayakers and paddle boarders who like to get out and explore. Sometimes rentals are available, but usually you will need your own kayak/paddle board.
Upcoming events (4)
See all- Turkey Creek - Goode Park Boat Ramp -Palm Bay, FLTurkey Creek, Palm Bay, FL
We will meet at The Goode Park Boat Ramp at 7:30 am. There is plenty of parking. and restrooms. Paddles in the water at 7:45 am sharp.
This will be an easy paddle approximately 4 miles. Turkey Creek never disappoints. We may see gators, manatees, turtles, birds, and occasional Dolphin.Bring water, bug spray, sun screen, snacks, PFD and whistle.
AND REMEMBER EARLY IS ON TIME.
We will be piggybacking onto an existing Coastal Cleanup event. They will probably be meeting at Paddling Paradise. So you can either avoid the crowds and launch from Goode Park, or you luanch from Paddling Paradise. Either way we will be paddling to Paddling Paradise to sign-in and get our assignments for 8am. Bring a grabber if you have one, gloves to avoid touching nasty stuff, and some garbage bags. Yes, they might provide them, but if you bring yer own then it will be better for everyone.
It will be a nice paddle, but the focus will be finding and recovering trash.
Yes, please sign up with our group, but you will also need to follow this link to tell the Green Water Space Alliance that you will be participating.
