ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
A secluded island. 7 strangers. One murderer. Can the Murder Mavens discover whodunnit, or will they be left...without a Clue?

The Mavens are heading out for the weekend to Ludo Island, a windswept rocky islet a couple miles off the coast of Brindlewood Bay. Accessible only by boat, the island is home to the mysterious Octavius Black, a private detective and collector. Increasingly reclusive since he purchased the island and its single Victorian mansion, he is never seen in Brindlewood Bay, coming and going by boat or seaplane on the rare occasions that he leaves.

However this weekend Mr. Black is hosting several guests, and his housekeeper Pearl Grey, a local and friend to at least one of the Mavens, has asked them to assist her with the preparations. The Mavens have agreed, if only for the chance to check out the secluded island, which in addition to the mansion has several species of rare seabirds which nest on its shore.

Little do they know, murder is afoot!

Board to Death is inspired by Clue (the board game), Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, the film Glass Onion, and detective fiction in general.

Play this mystery if you want to explore themes of: revenge, punishment, justice, games, cat & mouse, and the hunter becoming the hunted.

Complexity: 7

ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, you play a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque New England Town. Over the course of their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy in order to save their community. The game is low-prep and easy to play no matter your experience with tabletop roleplaying games.
