Limited Spaces!!Here's the plan:
- Bring a book you've recently read or a personal favourite you would recommend to others. (Can be a Spanish or an English Book, it's up to you)
- In Spanish, you'll have the chance to share a bit about the book—why you loved it, what it's about, or a favourite part.
- After everyone has shared, we'll swap books so you have something new to read until our next meeting.
- All of this will be enjoyed over a cup of coffee and an optional brunch!
This is a great, low-pressure way to practice your Spanish and get some awesome new reading material.
*To get the most out of this event, we recommend that you be at least at a solid B1 (Intermediate) level in Spanish.

- Después de que todos hayan compartido, intercambiaremos libros para que tengas algo nuevo que leer hasta nuestra próxima reunión.
- ¡Todo esto lo disfrutaremos con una taza de café y un brunch opcional!
Esta es una excelente manera, y sin presiones, de practicar tu español y conseguir nuevo material de lectura.

- Storyline:
In 1937, during the Spanish Civil War, Andrea Pesce, a Sicilian fighter with the International Brigades, is en route to the front in Guadalajara. Suddenly, he falls through a portal in time and finds himself in a present-day village in the province of Salamanca, Spain.
Lost and out of place, Andrea befriends Tomás, the local schoolteacher. He also becomes the subject of confusion, being mistaken for an angel by an over-enthusiastic priest.
As Andrea adapts to this strange new world, he faces a difficult decision: stay in the present day, where though peaceful, he doesn’t really belong; or return to the horrors of war — and to the woman he loves.I can’t wait to see you there!
