What we’re about
The Spiritual Growth and Community Center is an outreach program of the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson. We provide high-quality, inspirational programs, classes, and events to awaken peace, joy, love, compassion, personal growth, and creativity. We inspire all to be a healing presence in the world. All programs are open to the community—people of all faiths, including atheists, can participate and welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Spiritual Growth and Community Center is made possible through the generous support of the members and friends of the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson.

Love is the doctrine of this church.
The quest for truth is its sacrament.
And service is its prayer.
This is our great covenant:
To dwell together in peace
To seek the truth in love
And to help one another
To the end that all souls shall grow
In harmony with the divine.

See all- Sunday Morning MeditationUnitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson, Hudson, MA
Welcome back from the summer break! This week the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson is participating in a long-held UU tradition, Water Communion. During this ritual, we combine waters that we encountered and gathered during our Summer travels as a symbol of our coming together again as a community. To help prepare, we will focus our mediation this morning on they symbolism and ever-changing nature of water.
We invite you to join us in gathering to sit in peace on Sunday mornings. Whether you need a time of solace during a busy weekend, want to deepen your personal practice, or aim to join Sunday service with an uncluttered mind, you are welcome.
Meditation is a discipline that is integral to many spiritual traditions, religions, and secular mindfulness practices throughout the world and human history. Meditation comes in many forms, including as an act of prayer, accompanied by music, chanting, mantras, breathwork, or practiced simply in silence, and those who meditate regularly often find benefits of mental clarity and calmness from their practice. We will explore some of these variations on meditation and thoughtful contemplation weekly.
Sessions will begin at 9:15 in the Alice Hart Room, downstairs at UCMH, and will include 25 minutes of meditation. No experience is necessary to join. Suggested donation $5
Update: Upcoming meetings are TBD - while I am in studying for Yoga Teacher Training, my Sunday schedule is a little irregular. Please check the SGCC Events page for the most updated list upcoming Sunday Morning Meditations!
