Spontaneous Fun in New England is a vibrant, year-round recreational and social events group right here in New England. We're a community of folks just like you – curious, energetic, and always up for something new. From exploring hidden gems to trying new experiences, we're all about embracing the expected and unexpected and creating unforgettable memories together.
Think about conquering scenic hiking trails, bicycle rides, exciting trips near and far, delicious dinners at local spots, captivating bands, and so much more!

Hey everyone! I'm heading to the park to catch the incredible R3D N3CK Castaway Band as they pay tribute to all the Kenny Chesney hits you know and love!
Here's the lowdown:- Headliner: The six talented musicians of the R3D N3CK Castaway Band will be bringing the energy with Kenny Chesney's chart-topping songs.
- Opener: The talented Samanatha Rae will be kicking off the night.
- Food & Drinks: The new Field of Dreams concession stand will be open, so you can grab some tasty treats during the show.
- Comfort is Key: Bring your favorite lawn chair or a cozy blanket to relax on the lawn.
- Rain Plan: The concert goes on rain or shine. However, if the weather looks truly miserable, I'll make the call to cancel the meetup for everyone's comfort. Keep an eye on the comments for any updates.

Join us for a scenic hike from Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, website: www.fws.gov/refuge/great-meadows in Concord, MA There is a lookout tower with a lookout scope to look at scenery and animals. Lots of birds and safe animals ( review the website )3-4 miles. Flat surface. Porto-potties onsite.
What to bring: Hiking shoes, bottled water, binoculars, camera, cash.
Parking Location: Monsen Road, Concord, MA. There is limited parking lot with lookout tower. There is additional public parking on Monsen Road
Parking Fee: $2.00 but you can use an America The Beautiful Interagency Pass to have the fee waived - these passes can not be purchased at the site

- Bands On The Beach "BEATLEJUICE!" Free Concert & Fire Works!Salisbury Beachfront Stage , Salisbury , MA
Join the FUN this evening! "Bands On The Beach " Concerts are held on a stage at the edge of the beach and are usually followed by a weekly Fire Works display! People usually dance by the stage or on the sand. There are plenty of concessions -beach pizza, drinks, candy, ice cream, arcades ... LOTS to do before/during!!! Depending on how things go some of us may head over to the huge back deck at Surf Side for some dancing later on!
COST: free
MUSIC: 7:30 - 10:00 pm ( meet up time is earlier so we can find each other etc.)
BAND: Tonight's band - BEATLEJUICE! https://www.facebook.com/groups/326256718109409/FIRE WORKS : The display over the ocean usually starts directly after the concert at 10:00 PM
SEATING: this is a public event. There are several benches around the stage and beyond. They fill quickly, but people come and go. If you really want to be sure of seating, bring your own chair.
WHERE TO MEET UP: this concert is open to all. When I get there and find seating I will post the exact location to the comments.
PARKING: metered, paid lots ( I will add a link with more info closer to the date)
THE WEATHER: rain cancels - if it's really raining, even though the stage has a cover, they usually won't play . If you are on the rsvp list and the weather's questionable, please stay in the loop for any updates
