Come and join our badminton doubles tournament 🫶

This is going to be a Sportas style casual tournament to give you a chance to play more competitively but still have fun! 😉

£25 per individual, let us know if you will be joining as a pair or as an individual via the game chat on the Sportas app 🧡

🥇Winners - Trophy, Medals and £30 Sportas credits each

🥈Runners Up - Medals & £10 Sportas credits each

- We’ll be using feather shuttles
- Self refereed games
- Can be a male only, women only or mixed pair
- In group stages/round-robin, one set game to 21 points
- Every time there is a serve, there is a point scored
- At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first wins
- At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point wins

Rules
Round-robin group stages:

Every team in the group faces each other once

One game up to 21 points, at 20 all, the side that gains a 2-point lead first wins, at 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point wins

The top 2 pairs in each group go through to the last 8.

There will also be a 3rd place bracket (for fun!)

The last 8 - will be decided by 1 game

Winner Group A vs 2nd place Group B Winner Group B vs 2nd place Group A Winner Group C vs 2nd place Group D Winner Group D vs 2nd place Group C

The semi-finals & finals will be best of 3 games.

The 3rds bracket - Every 3rd place team will get the opportunity to continue playing after the last 8 finishes, no prize just bragging rights!
