TAMING THE RESTLESS MIND
Poor sleep, anxiety, overwhelm & stress are common experiences for those who live the usual type of lifestyle in this day and age. Obligations, duties, expectations placed on us all require that we function successfully at a certain level in order to deliver what's required of us.
Whilst the mind helps us to evaluate everyday situations, it can also take over and remain highly active when we just need a break and time out!
A restless mind is like an attention seeking child, it deprives us of our quiet downtime. There are various techniques we can use to help, such as meditation, using a mantra, listening to music, focusing on breathing etc.
We seem to be in constant need of stimulation, could this be because we're avoiding the void of nothingness? Avoiding being in the Now?
Join us for an open discussion in a safe non judgemental environment.
