Welcome to the St. Augie LBGTQ+ Social Meetup.com group! This group is for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies who are looking to connect with others who share similar interests and passions in a safe and welcoming space. Whether you're into kayaking, board games, reading, or trying out new restaurants, this group is the perfect place to meet new friends and create lasting connections. Join us for fun events and activities that celebrate diversity and unity within the St. Augustine and surrounding areas LGBTQ+ community. Let's come together, have a great time, and build a supportive community together!
We do ask for a contribution of $10 per person or $20 per couple each year to pay for the Meetup group fees. Reach out to Jane Edwards for instructions on how to pay. For new members, we hope you'll attend a couple of events and want to contribute.

Southern Grounds & Company has arrived in America’s oldest city.
Opening in early January at King and Riberia streets, the 2,820-square-foot coffee shop, complete with an outdoor patio and fireplace, offers gourmet coffees, lattes, teas, flavored kombucha’s and smoothies along with breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, wine, sangria and champagne.
A “100%” remodel transformed the house which was formerly owned by the Catholic Daughters Club of America, the female auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, from a decaying edifice that stood vacant and disheveled for years into the historical charm that’s now perfectly nestled into the couture of St. Augustine's architecture.Owner and CEO Mark Janasik spent a year remodeling and says, “We're a chef-driven coffee house that believes in ambiance, quality food and a great cup of coffee. We believe in serving as a vibrant community hub where the power of hospitality brings people together.”
