Ride Description:
Join me for a scenic cycling adventure from Tempe to Rhodes, following the beautiful Cooks River cycle path.
We'll meet at Tempe train station car park and pedal along the flat and well-maintained path, enjoying the peaceful riverside views of the Cooks Cyclepath This ride is perfect for all levels, offering a smooth and enjoyable journey without any major hills. We'll cross over the Cooks River a few times, passing through several parks and reserves as we make our way toward the Parramatta River.
Our final destination is Rhodes, where we grab a coffee and a bite to eat at Bare Witness café, near the foreshore. After a short break, we'll head back along the same route, making this an out-and-back ride. The entire trip is approximately 45-50 kilometers, making it a great way to spend a morning and get some fresh air.
What to Bring:
• A bike in good working condition
• Mandatory: Helmet
• Water bottle, snacks/energy bars, phone and money for a café stop
• Spare tube, repair kit, and basic knowledge of flat repair
• Sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothing
• A positive and can-do attitude
Cancellation Policy:
The ride will be cancelled if there is rain; you will be notified via SMS by 6.30am on the day of the ride. Just check back here.
