Roasting coffee and parallelograms for routers
Details
Everyone welcome! Bring your projects or just pop in for a visit.
I got some green coffee beans, so I'll be roasting them in a Salton popcorn maker. I've done this before, and it's a quick process. I'm going to time it and see if I can open up the popcorn maker so that I can adjust the temperature to get a slightly slower roast.
If I have time, I'll also look at re-building a sled for the MaslowCNC project. I 3d-printed some brackets to make a paralellogram setup for it to keep the router bit centered. It's an interesting concept, and works like a charm, but we lost the original build.
As usual, if you RSVP I'll send you the address.
