December Walk, The Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade & Walking Along Broadway

You are invited to join us at 5:15pm-6:15pm on Saturday, December 6th, on Broadway in Fargo as we celebrate at the Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade and then walk along Broadway.

With Downtown Fargo being the group members’ most requested urban walk location, it is only fitting that we close 2025 there.

We’ll meet inside Atomic Coffee, 222 North Broadway where seats will be reserved beginning at 5:15pm for those who have RSVPed for the event. (The parade begins at 6:30pm near the Moorhead Billiards.)

With the coffee shop serving as our warming center before, during & after the parade, members can decide on an individual basis how much time to spend inside & outside during the event.

After the parade, we’ll hang out and socialize while parade goers leave and then (weather permitting) we’ll walk up and down Broadway to get our steps in while continuing to enjoy the sights.

places are free on weekends after 5:00pm.

***Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

***Members will be available after the event to walk with anyone who will be walking back to their car alone.
