What we’re about
Great movies, in great theaters, with great people. That’s the mission. A club filled with film-lovers (and film-likers) that meets every week to watch a movie in theaters! We’ll hang out before/after each showing to talk about movies, life, and just get to know each other. I schedule a good mixture of new and old releases, and try to balance genres. We also schedule events outside the theater like our popular ‘Outdoor Movie Nights’ at Tower Grove Park! This is a great way to meet new people and socialize!

We're heading across the river to one of my favorite childhood spots: the Skyview Drive In! As part of their Icon-a-thon event, on Screen 2 they'll be showing:
- Monty Python and the Holy Grail at 8:30
- Eraserhead at 10:10
- Rocky Horror Picture Show at 11:50
You can either buy tickets using the groupon link above, (its a great deal if you have 2 or 4 people) or at the box office for $13/person (cash only!). I'll be meeting at the Schnucks right next door around 7:35 before heading in at 7:45ish to save some spots. We'll try to save a big area, and I'll update the comment section in this event once we're settled, so you can find us. No guarantee that it won't sell out so try to get there as early as possible. Feel free to stay for as many movies as you'd like.
If you have a camp chair or a blanket, bring it! Most of us will be sitting outside under the stars. Also, if you have a portable radio that plays FM stations, please bring that as well, so we don't have to use our car radios. There is a concession stand, but you are allowed to bring in snacks and alcoholic beverages if you'd like.

For our August Alamo Partnership Event (due to a few scheduling issues, it turned into early September), we're seeing Steven Spielberg's, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Spielberg is the epitome of a Big Screen director and I can't wait to see Close Encounters in theaters for the first time.Every month our members vote on a list of 10 films, and through our partnership with the wonderful Alamo Drafthouse, we get to experience the winner in one of their lovely theaters! Our Patreon members get to narrow the list from 10 to 5, and then we all vote on the winner in our WhatsApp group. Alamo also throws in a free bag of popcorn at the showing for our Patreon members!
