Wednesday Junction Hotel Games Session

This week is no ordinary Wednesday meet up!
No no.
For this week Stranger Gamers celebrates its first anniversary!
I'm not normally an intensely expressive person, however, I would like to say a huge thank you to every one of you and for making this one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I wasn't sure it was going to take off, but it's all thanks to everyone that has come along, be it once or every week, that makes Stranger Gamers what it is, and encourages me to try to think of ways to make Stranger Gamers even better!
This year it has been a fantastic privilege to get to know so many of you, I feel like it's more a group of friends than it is a gaming group. Many of you, I feel, I've known so much longer than a year.
Ultimately I just want to say, once again, a huge, HUGE thank you for joining in to all of you. I may have started the group and found a place but it's you guys, your welcoming attitudes, sense of inclusivity and great humour that really makes this group an absolute pleasure to be a part of.
I look forward to catching up with you all, and all the new faces yet to come, but for now I'll stop being so sappy. Well until next year at least.

This weeks session will be called to order for Wednesday, aka Steak Night!
For those of you that haven't been before, the function room opens a little before 6 with members arriving and detoxing from the work day with a mixture of food and/or beer. Possibly even just a little air or a chat. Traditionally we give it a little time for folks to arrive and eat, but games tend to kickstart around 7 so if you're running a little late, have no fear!

Please come on in, introduce yourself, bring a friend or two if you like, some games you want to play if you are so inclined, or simply partake in some friendly banter and see what games are on offer. If you have a game you want to bring but want to test the waters on participants, or looking for particular games to play, simply place a comment in the event feed, you'll normally get a response or two.
There's also an offer at the pub for a steak and beer pot for $18, so all the meat lovers out there can rejoice! For the non-meat lovers, I'm sure something on the menu will still satisfy.

For everyone else, as always it's a pleasure gaming with you all and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
