Photowalk #50 - The Bass museum - Botanical Garden - Bayshore Park

PHOTO CHALLENGE: "Circle"
Look for circles — in objects, shapes, shadows, or reflections. A circle is a full moment — nothing missing, nothing extra. The perfect shape of presence: complete enough to rest, ready enough to begin again.

This gentle photowalk blends contemporary art at The Bass with a shady escape into the Botanical Garden and Bayshore Park. It’s a perfect way to explore beauty, breathe, and shoot in two of the most tranquil spots in the city.
Both museum and gardens are free to enter.

SCHEDULE

2:00 – 2:15 PM — Meet & Greet (Museum Lobby)
We’ll quietly gather in the sitting area near the front desk at The Bass (2100 Collins Ave).
I will have a green dot on the top of my palm — so you can easily spot me.
I’ll have colored dots for everyone to recognize each other too.
We’ll start museum exploration exactly at 2:15 PM.
If you arrive late: no stress — just begin exploring, and meet us back at 3:00 PM in the lobby.

2:15 – 3:00 PM — Explore The Bass Museum
Short but sweet — plenty of visual gems in a compact space.

3:00 – 3:55 PM — Miami Beach Botanical Garden
We’ll walk across the street and enjoy the greenery, koi ponds, bridges, and soft light.

3:55 – 4:45 PM — Bay Shore Park (optional)
Just a few steps further — we’ll visit a new park with the huge “walking tree” and shaded winding paths of this hidden nature spot.
Optional for anyone who needs to wrap up earlier.

After 4:45 PM — Optional snack & hangout
We can stroll toward Lincoln Road or grab a bite nearby.
