Never say Never Work Day at Withlacoochee River Park.

We will be finishing the restoring of the park's trails. Meet at the last parking lot. We hike up to There is work for all skill levels. The total trail is 4 miles so we maybe walk 2 miles. You can work for as long as you would like. We need volunteers to cut vegetation with loppers, repaint blazes, use hedge trimer, fight a DR mower and clear brush after the certified sawyers. We will be working in the shade of big oat trees and some sunny locations. There is bathrooms at the trail head
It may be wet but will be hot. We should be working in the shade most of the time!! Bring a small backpack with lots of water (2 litters or more) to drink, bug spray, and any snack you would like.
You MUST have closed toed shoes, long pants. Long sleeves are recommended to keep bugs, sun,cuts and poison ivy off your arms. I will have gloves, eye protection (you can wear sunglasses/regular glasses), and Loppers. You may bring your own.
