Paddle the Hillsborough River at Lettuce Lake Park

We will Paddle upstream about 3 miles and then back to Lettuce Lake park.

$2 entrance fee to enter the park. They only have about 20 kayaks to rent so if you need one you may want to show up early.

Bring your own kayak or rent from the park. We will meet at the kayak launch. If you have your own kayak you should bring some wheels, it's a good distance from the parking lot to the launch.

Items that you may want to bring: plenty of drinking water, snacks, lunch, hat, sunglasses, camera, sunscreen, bug repellent, closed toe water shoes, PFD and whistle/horn. It's your responsibility to be USCG
compliant.

Possible risks from participation include, but are not limited to:
Injury from a trip & fall, drowning, venomous snakes, stinging insects, venomous spiders, wildlife encounters, heat stroke, hypothermia, noxious vegetation, weather related injury, insect or airborne transmissible virus and disease, smoke inhalation, wildfire, falling trees.
