Arrive on time and don't be left behind!*

We launch from the kayak/canoe launch located on Gap Creek. Gap Creek can be accessed at the the back of Braden River Park (behind the ball fields). We paddle 1/2 mile to reach the Braden River and then south for about one mile to the Braden River Dam. The Braden River dam is located at the northern tip of Ever's Reservoir that includes Jiggs Landing.

We turn at the dam and head south for 3 miles towards SR64.

Due to the trip length of 8+ miles this paddle is intended for intermediate/experienced paddlers ONLY! You must have paddled a minimum distance of 8 miles (with a group at a moderate pace) within the last 6 months.

This event is for Suncoast Pedal & Paddle members only. No guests, pets, +1's or spouses allowed.

UPON ARRIVAL: Please sign in on the "Participant Liability Waiver" BEFORE you get in to the water (unless you display a SP&P decal on your kayak).

After the paddle we will be having lunch at Poblano's Mexican Restaurant located 2 minutes from our launch site.

Don't forget to bring the mandatory PFD and whistle and the (optional) water shoes, water/drinks, bilge pump, bug spray, sunscreen, paddle float, paddle leash, snacks, etc.

IMPORTANT: Approximately 5 minutes before launch time we will hold a MANDATORY pre-paddle safety briefing. Please do not get into your kayaks until AFTER the safety briefing is over. Be prepared to launch immediately after the safety briefing.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Since the demand to attend our paddling events is unusually high, we request that if you plan on NOT attending the paddle that you remove your name from the "attendee list" as soon as possible! If you do not remove yourself from the list of "going" within 24 hours of the start of the event, you will be marked as a "NO SHOW".
