Alderley to Samford:
Details
Starting Point: Grinstead Park Alderley.
Distance: Approx. 40 kms return.
Time: Allow 3 hours for the ride and the coffee break.
Speed: Easy pace 17 to 20 kmh. We will adjust the speed to suit the group.
Terrain: A few hills cycling on bike paths, shared paths, and back roads.
Route:
We’ll depart from Grinstead Park in Alderley and follow the Kedron Brook Bikeway out to Ferny Grove Rail Station. From there, we’ll use local back streets to connect with the Lanita Rail Trail and continue on to Samford. The return trip will follow the same route back to Grinstead Park.
Wet Weather:
If conditions aren’t suitable for riding, an update will be posted 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time.
