2025 is our 5th Year doing this at Sunset Beach, North Carolina! Casual, simple, public circle of drumming & music (free loaner drums and rattles on-hand too): first-timers, newcomers, professionals, all locals, all visitors WELCOME!

- FREE on public beach/gazebo for 1.5 hrs, weather permitting, weekly MONDAYS on beach by Sunset Beach Pier:

This community drumming & music circle is for ANYONE interested in casual, musical FUN! On the beach by the SB Pier (left side) in North Carolina, USA.
- ADDRESS ON BEACH: 101 W. Main Street, Sunset Beach NC.
- Loaner drums, rattles, bells available for free, first-come-first-use
- Other instruments WELCOME! Dancers also welcome!
- Free parking after 5pm in paved lot at the gazebo, or along east side of causeway/bridge road
- OR, $10/all day parking in dirt lot by the pier (at green building)
- All skill levels wanted: first-timers, newcomers, casual, professional, beach visitors, tourists, locals, residents, kids, adults, teens, seniors, all beings, everyone!
Nicole Depauw and Margo Ross Sears started this in 2021 to have beachy fun with visitors and locals! Come play drums, bells, rattles, flutes, strings, horns, winds, brass or whatever YOU want to bring for fun and dancing, OR or just simply watch and relax on the beach with us. Join us!
We have 4 Rules for safety, peace, and common sense:
- obey public laws (public drinking, pets on leashes, no glass, no littering, etc)
- avoid any political or hot-button discussions
- return borrowed instruments to owner immediately :)
- HAVE FUN! BE JOY! BE OUTDOORS, CONNECTING! :)

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
- A friend or 2 or 3 or whole family or neighbors!
- a chair or beach towel when on beach
- casual dress code, DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
- your drum, if applies (all types drums or ANY instruments are welcome!)
- any other percussion--rattles, bells, chimes, pan lids, shakers, clappers
