What we’re about
I love reading📚 books.... and I also love cafes☕🍷 and getting together with other women for a coffee or wine, so I have decided to combine all three in a relaxed and informal setting. At present we are using a venue in Parklands which is working very well for us. We get together on the last Wednesday afternoon of every month.
Each of us will bring along a book that we have recently read and give others a short review of it about it over a drink and/snack in a friendly and casual atmosphere. These will be held on a Wednesday afternoon from 2.30pm-4.30pm.
You are very welcome to swap your books with each other and the only requirement I ask is that it's returned to the owner at the next month's Book club Meetup (unless otherwise arranged with that member), and please also swap a phone number with the person with whom you are borrowing it from.
Theer will be an Annual (Non refundable) membership fee of $20 to cover the fees that I have to pay meetup to use their site. This must be paid within one week of joining us.
