WALK AROUND HAWLEY COMMON AND HAWLEY LAKE

Join SABRE walk leader Roger for a leisurely walk beginning at the Blackwater and Hawley Memorial Hall, walking through the trees, then along the old runway and over Hawley Hill. Then down the hill, across the Common and around the Lake, before returning up through the trees to the start point.

The walk is 5 miles long. We will walk at a moderate pace on well made paths and forest trails. There are some gentle slopes. Mainly on gravel but it could be muddy in places after rain.

Meet at the Blackwater and Hawley Memorial Hall car park on Hawley Green, off Fernhill Road in Hawley. The hall car park is on the left just beyond the Leisure Centre.
