Our simple concept: gather with a group of locals on a regular basis to form real friendships in Sydney.

Welcome to the Surry Hills Social Locals’ Coffee Club (ages 25 to 35) - a friendly social Meetup for people living in Surry Hills and surrounding suburbs like Redfern, Darlinghurst, Waterloo and Zetland who want to make new friends over coffee.

You don’t need to live in Surry Hills to join us. If you spend time in the inner city or can easily get to Surry Hills, you’re very welcome!

We believe the best friendships grow from relaxed, low‑pressure group catch‑ups, so we keep things simple:

We meet in small groups so it never feels overwhelming, even if you’re coming alone or for the first time.
Our meetups are usually 45–60 minutes, with the option to stay longer if you’re enjoying the conversation.
We rotate through local cafes in Surry Hills and nearby suburbs, which makes it easy to discover new spots around Sydney.

This group is perfect if you:

Are 25–35 years old and live, work or hang out in Surry Hills / inner‑city Sydney (or can easily get there).
Want to meet new people in Sydney, especially if you’re new in town or your old friends have moved away.

We play by three simple rules:

Always friendly - everyone should feel like they’re among friends. Come with no expectations and leave excited for the next event.
No dating or selling - this space is purely for making friends and genuine connections, not a dating app or networking pitch.
Ages 25–35 - to keep things relatable, our meetups are for people within this age range.
