Jack's Knob Trail from Jack's Gap + AT hike - 11.6 miles strenuous

Let's Take-a-Hike and knock out another AT section!

We will start at Jack's Gap and then hike up to Jack's Knob. We will take a right on the AT and go to Poplar Stamp Gap where we left off on the 12/27 hike. This hike is exploratory so the mileage and elevation is estimated.

This section is listed at 4.6 miles at 1423ft elevation gain making it a difficult hike. The section from Jack's Knop to Poplar Gap and back is about 6.8 miles and has steady ups and downs.

We will meet at 10am at the Jack's Gap trailhead. Please make sure you bring plenty of water, snacks and hiking poles are recommended.
