Casual Bike Ride in Myakka River State Park (15 miles r/t)

Details
David Hyde volunteered to lead this one.
Join him for a casual 15 mile bike ride within Myakka River State Park. Last time we were there, we saw lots of wildlife.
You will meet at the parking lot to the right of the ranger station before 08:30 AM.
You will ride on paved roads to the other end of the park and take a break at Clay Gully. On the return you will stop at the Birdwalk and continue to Myakka Outpost where you will take another break. Depending on the trail, you might go for a little walk to check on alligators. If you want, you can make an additional stop at the Canopy Walkway, we haven't done that one in a long time. After that, it will be time to head back to the car.
The whole event shouldn't last longer than 11:30 AM unless you get surrounded by wildlife, get stuck in knee deep water or simply get lost🤪.
Please make sure that you bring along plenty of water and protect yourself from the sun although the route should provide a fair amount of shade. A little snack is always a good idea.
If you have questions or need directions, you can contact David directly.
Please keep in mind that cell phone reception can be very spotty in parts of the park and outside the gates, so David might not be able to respond on short notice.
