🌊🎨 "Art, Exercise & the Sea”: Exploring Woollahra + Bondi 🤝🚶🏻‍♀️

ABOUT: Enjoy a unique tour of Woollahra and Bondi that brings together fitness, culture and the beach on Saturday, December 13. Walk a substantial distance across the two neighbourhoods and explore 8 amazing art galleries – exhibiting paintings, photography, sculptures, installations. Listen to interesting stories, interact with the staff.

Bonus: some gorgeous boutiques and heritage homes on the route.

All welcome – those familiar with art or completely new to it. Come whatever your background – tech, finance, retail, healthcare, etc. Exchange names and numbers, make new friends, and have fun!

MEETING TIME: 11:00 – 11:30 AM.

MEETING POINT: Outside “Westfield Shopping Centre” (500 Oxford St, Bondi Junction NSW 2022) entry/exit at the corner of Grosvenor St & Oxford St, opposite "Kathmandu" shop. Near Bondi Junction station.

START AND PROGRAMME: We will begin around 11:30 – 11:40 AM, moving towards Woollahra on Oxford Street, then coming back to Bondi. We will spend 10-15 minutes per gallery, and stop midway for drinks and snacks.

END: The walk will end before 3:30 PM near a bus stop on Bondi beach.

PRICE OF TOUR: Please pay $20 by cash on arrival.

IMPORTANT:

• Please check transport in advance. Make sure you sleep well the night before, and leave home early enough in the morning so you can reach the meeting point on time.
• Remember to have a good breakfast before arriving which can keep you going during the early afternoon.
• Please message if you are running late.
• Wear comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, sun protection. Please bring a water bottle and an umbrella.
• No additional compulsory costs beyond $20. Drinks and snacks are optional – you may also bring your own.
• Be careful when you explore art galleries. Do not touch surfaces of artworks.
• Photos of the group will be clicked and may be posted on Meetup and the organiser’s social media platforms. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed must inform the organiser before the tour begins.
• Please update your registration if you are unable to make it to the event.
