ABOUT US. We are a fun loving and friendly group of people from all over the world, that has been set up primarily to organize bushwalks, beach and harbour walks, weekend getaways, camping trips, interstate holidays, social events and charity events. We organize lots of great events for our members and you can enjoy yourself and make many good friends by attending our events.

Hot Artesian Bores at Moree
Gwydir Thermal Pools Motel & Caravanpark, 4 Amaroo Dr, Moree, NS, AUThe Gwydir Carapark is located in N.S.W Enjoy access to our 5-artesian hot pools with all of them only metres away from your accomodation. The Artesian thermal water that fills our pools is drawn from the Great Artesian Basin at a depth of approximately 720 metres.

We cater for all types of accommodation including camping, caravanning, cabins and villas. There is a second motel site about 1km away that can also be booked motel rooms only and is the same owners. Stay at either site and have access to both. We will stay at the Gwydir Carapark and book a one bedroom cabin. This site has the 5 pools.

The Gwydir Carapark and Thermal Pools has 6 Artesian Thermal Pools ranging in temperature from 39 degrees to 28 degrees including a 25 Metre Artesian water warm lap pool. In 1996 we had bore drilled onsite to allow us to tap in to the curative and soothing powers of the mineral rich Artesian waters , The continual flow of this wonderful water keep our pools the same temperature year round .
Joe and I stayed here August 2025 and enjoyed a lovely relaxing week. We caught the train from Sydney Central (daily service). And stayed a week. We sat in the various pools 3 times a day and walked into town most days. Coles, Woolies, Art Galleries, Services Club and Pubs are easy walks and most have fee buses. Mini buses (on demand are very cheap) pick up from the station to accommodation and also around town.
You can book the On Demand service by phoning 1300 679 287. Bookings can be made up to one day prior to your trip. Bookings are subject to availability.
