Black Range Campsite is on the Six Foot Track, 10km from the Jenolan Caves.
The campsite is a flat, grassy field, surrounded by gumtrees, with no defined tent sites. It is large, with space for 30+ tents. Black Range Campsite is accessible, but vehicles must park by the campsite entrance and not next to your tent.
Bookings and cost: Black Range campsite is a free campground and bookings aren't required
Getting there: The campsite sits on the Six Foot Track, 34.7km from the Explorers Tree, Katoomba, or 10km from the Jenolan Caves.
Facilities: Toilets, rain water tank and covered picnic tables
Cooking: Campfires aren't allowed so bring a camp stove
Mobile phone service: None. But who needs a phone when camping anyway?
