For our members in 20-30s, come join us for a self-guided exploration of Cockatoo Island—a former prison, shipyard, and film set floating in Sydney Harbour. Wander through industrial ruins, soak in panoramic Opera House views, and uncover stories of resilience.

### Schedule

10:15 AM: Meet at Circular Quay Wharf 5
10:25 PM: Board ferry (Latecomers must self-organize transport!)
10:50 PM–12:20 PM:**Island exploration
12:20 PM: Return ferry and lunch in downtown or free time
*BONUS: Explore Darling Quarter for this year's Korean Festival + Lunch (till 14:45)

### Cost

  • Fee: Free for ALL of our RETURNING guests.
    First-time joiners - we will kindly offer you a $10 membership fee (UNLIMITED events in future)
  • Mandatory: Ferry fare

### What to Bring

  • Opal card / credit card for ferry
  • Sunscreen, hat, comfy walking shoes
  • Snack + water (limited island cafes; picnic recommended!)
  • Curiosity about Sydney’s gritty past!

  • Our community is well-regarded to be a safe & inclusive group. Attendees are expected to treat ALL guests/peers with courtesy, respect and understand of their own cultural background. Sales pitch & pick-up activities are STRICTLY prohibited. ANY attendees with misconduct/anti-social behaviour (& made other guests feel uncomfortable) will be removed from the group without warning & report to the event platform for further action.
