A sunrise at Centennial Park in Sydney is a magical experience for several reasons:- Natural Beauty: The park’s lush greenery, gardens, and waterways are bathed in soft, golden light at sunrise, creating a picturesque scene.
- Stunning Views: You can enjoy both the serene park landscape and glimpses of the Sydney skyline as the sun rises.
- Wildlife: The early morning is perfect for spotting native birds and waterfowl, adding to the peaceful atmosphere.
- Perfect for Photography: The soft morning light provides fantastic opportunities for stunning photos of nature and reflections.
In short, it’s a peaceful, scenic, and easily accessible location to start your day.
The trail is roughly 6km and should take around 3 hours to complete depending on our pace and we will gather at a cafe afterwards for a coffee.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. The walk is mostly flat and on concrete footpaths.
This walk is a real showstopper boasting some of the best views Sydney has to offer!START TIME AND MEET LOCATION
Meeting Location: Centennial Homestead
Meeting Time: Arrive 6:00am for a strict 6:10am Departure.WHAT TO BRING
- Water (at least 1-2L)
- Snack food for the hike
- Money for coffee afterwardsWHAT TO WEAR
- Comfortable Walking Shoes
- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).
- Hat / BeanieFINISH
The Hike should take around 3 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.
We will finish the walk where we began.
