Leadership and Influence Intensive

I'm Ariya Chittasy, the Director of Engenesis Ventures and host of Sydney Tech-Based Startups.

I'm excited to lead a special intensive workshop for those of you who can join us. The 3-hour live event will be co-facilitated by Jacqueline Hoftse, who has led $30m+ projects with global teams at billion-dollar companies, so there is a lot of value that will be jam packed into this event.

As I look on my own startup journey, before taking the helm of the venture portfolio at Engenesis, leadership has played a major role to me.

There were many times I thought the issue I was dealing with could be solved with more money/capital, better or more skilled team members, or better systems or technology.

It took me years before I really honed in on one key factor that many do speak about, but they tend to gloss over: People.

For me, when we look at leadership, it's about understanding ourselves and the people within our teams and around us and then being effective at moving things forward in partnership with them.

All entrepreneurs must lead, by definition. And especially when you're under-resourced, leadership is one of your greatest assets.

In this 3-hour session, I'll be sharing with the group the results of our years of research in this area that started as something we wanted to figure out for ourselves, and is now used by thousands of people across over 39 countries, called the Being Framework.
