In this talk, Ian Ellis-Jones details how the book is an allegory with many layers of meaning. Join us on a trip down the Yellow Brick Road where we will look at the wisdom contained in The Wizard of Oz and the other Oz books and works.
Dr Ian Ellis-Jones is a retired lawyer and university academic. He is the author or coauthor of several books on the law and other subjects, his latest publication being Making Australia Positive (2023), being an account of two women who made a difference in alternative spirituality in Australia last century.
His special interests include the mystery religions, the inner meaning of myths, legends and fairy tales, New Thought, spiritual psychology, and the performing arts.
