Creating beautiful and accessible drag and drop for Atlassian

Details

We are kicking off the 2019 season with an insight on Atlassian's journey towards creating beautiful and accessible drag and drop using React.

Moving objects around is a common human experience. Many attempts have been made to bring a 'drag and drop' interaction to the web.

Atlassian are chasing the goal of building a drag and drop experience that feels great for everyone, including people with visual impairments.

In this talk, Alex Reardon (Principal Engineer at Atlassian) will explore Atlassian's journey towards building a natural and accessible movement interaction that anyone can use.
