We are kicking off the 2019 season with an insight on Atlassian's journey towards creating beautiful and accessible drag and drop using React.
Moving objects around is a common human experience. Many attempts have been made to bring a 'drag and drop' interaction to the web.
Atlassian are chasing the goal of building a drag and drop experience that feels great for everyone, including people with visual impairments.
In this talk, Alex Reardon (Principal Engineer at Atlassian) will explore Atlassian's journey towards building a natural and accessible movement interaction that anyone can use.
